Welcome to Mushroom Mania.
My Journey into the World of Mycology, Macrofungi,
Mushroom Mania |

In late summer/early fall of 2006, I foraged for mushrooms for the first time. Since then, foraging, exploring, and learning about wild mushrooms, has become a passionate family hobby. I am currently a member of RAMA, the Rochester Area Mycological Association, in Rochester, New York; and am fortunate enough to have been chosen as the RAMA Newsletter editor. I have also joined the Western Pennsylvania Mushroom Club, and the Susquehanna Valley Mycological Society in Binghamton, NY.
Additionally, I am the developer and author of
Mushroom
Mania; the Newsletter This PDF is 300kb -- Please Allow Time for Download Read this Issue and Learn how to turn an Offensive Stinkhorn into an Interesting Edible.
More text and photos will be added on a continual basis.
